Wow .... made it back home in one piece and couldnt wait ! Mumbai was getting a little more than hectic and the thought of the lovely english countryside was always on our minds. The flight was great, good old BA ! ten h..

everyone drives on the beach and they land planes as well ...this is a wreck of a cruis ship used in world war 2 to move troops out of the war zone. It was sold to the japanese and was beached when being towed during a massive stormpart of the day included walking up a fresh water creek ... water is over 70 years old !
this is a fresh water lake which is high in ph so making it difficult for anything to survive (and very good for the skin to swim in !)the beach where the boat drops the buses !sunset on the ferry back
this is the veiw of Fraser Island ... in hervey Bay where the humpbacks visit every yearthere were tons of them ... literallywaving to the boat

an amazing experience .. they are fun to watch even if the trip was a little rough at timesthis is a beach just outside Nosa Head where we stayed one night before going to Brisbanedowntown Brisbane on a cloudy day
Brisbane - luckily we were around for the annual river fireworkswe managed to get another relocation van to Sydney and parked up at the lovely Cape Byron near Byron Bay
Cape Byron - and this was the view out of the van doorwe walked around Byron Bay and ran into Louise and James who we ahd bought the van from in NZ !! what a small world it isthe clouds have certainly been moving in recently as you can see in our picturesChecked out Mutton Bird Island near Coffs Harbour

another good fishing site for Bruce ... we were late finding this site but it turned out okso .. after another 1,163 km down from Brisbane we made it to Sydneyand this is well worth a visitit looks great even on a cloudy day !tiff trying to look warm .. and spot the bridge walkers !!
